Monta : avec Salomon, de Guihon à la cité de David.

La flûte : instrument dont on jouait principalement dans les fêtes et les processions joyeuses (Esaïe 5.12 ; 30.29 ; Luc 7.32).

La terre tremblait..., proprement : se fendait, expression énergique qui dépeint avec l'emphase orientale l'enthousiasme de la foule et montre combien Salomon était déjà aimé de la masse du peuple.
