World English Bible Notwithstanding I will not do it in your days, for David your father's sake; but I will tear it out of the hand of your son.

A cause de David. En considération de David, Dieu met un double adoucissement au châtiment. La punition n'en est pas moins sévère, puisqu'elle frappe Salomon dans l'avenir de sa dynastie.
