2 à 6 Comme cette liste fait mention de deux hommes qui avaient épousé des filles de Salomon, elle doit dater d'un moment déjà plus avancé de son règne. Les listes analogues du temps de David (2Samuel 8.12-18 ; 20.23-24) sont plus modestes. Il faut remarquer aussi que dans ces dernières les officiers militaires sont en tête, tandis que sous Salomon, le roi de paix, les fonctionnaires religieux et civils occupent la première place.
