Le Seigneur votre Dieu conclut maintenant une alliance avec vous, et vous invite à la confirmer par un serment solennel.

Coupeur...puiseur... Ces occupations qui, déjà en Egypte, étaient celles des esclaves (11.10), avaient été remises, pendant le séjour du peuple au désert, aux étrangers qui s'étaient joints à lui.
