4. Ancêtre d'une famille dont 1.254 membres revinrent en Palestine avec Zorobabel (Esd 2:7, Ne 7:12) et 71 avec Esdras (Esd 8:7). L'un d'eux pressa Esdras de mettre fin aux mariages mixtes (Esd 10:2) et 6 de ses membres durent renvoyer leurs femmes (Esd 10:26). Cette famille fut représentée par un chef pour apposer son sceau à l'alliance (Ne 10:14).

5. « Un autre Élam », ayant eu lui aussi 1.254 descendants, est (Esd 2:31, Ne 7:34) sans doute le même que le n°4.

6. Prêtre qui prit part à la dédicace des murs de Jérusalem (Ne 12:42).
