1. Capitale du royaume de Jabin (Jos 11:1, Jug 4:17), prise par Josué (Jos 11:10 et suivant), donnée à Nephthali (Jos 19:36), fortifiée par Salomon (1Ro 9:15), prise par Tiglath-Piléser (2Ro 15:29) ; était située au Sud de Kédès (1Ma 11:63,67) ; appelée Aser dans Tob 1:2. Voir Galilée.

2, 3. Deux villes du S. de Juda (Jos 15:23,25) ; la deuxième = Kérijoth-Hetsron.

4. Ville de Benjamin (Ne 11:33) ; probablement les ruines actuelles de Hazzour, à 6 km. au Nord-O, de Jérusalem.

5. Région du N. -E, de l'Arabie, comme Kédar ; les deux sont l'objet des menaces du prophète (Jer 49:28-33).
