IsraĂ«l n'a pas de devins ; mais il a Ă  chaque moment les messagers de Dieu, les prophĂštes, qui lui expliquent l'Ɠuvre de JĂ©hova. Comparez DeutĂ©ronome 18.11-18 ; Amos 3.7.

On a expliquĂ© aussi dans un sens tout diffĂ©rent : Comme il n'y a point de magie qui puisse exercer sa puissance Ă  l'Ă©gard de (contre) Jacob, le temps vient oĂč l'on dira : Voyez quelles grandes choses Dieu a faites pour lui ! Dans le sens rendu par notre traduction, la relation logique entre les deux parties du verset paraĂźt plus claire.

Il sera dit : par l'Eternel au prophĂšte, et par le prophĂšte au peuple.

En son temps : Ă  chaque fois selon le besoin du moment. Cette parole convient bien dans la bouche de celui qui, devin lui-mĂȘme, sent, toute la diffĂ©rence qu'il y a entre son mĂ©tier et le vrai prophĂ©tisme accordĂ© par Dieu Ă  IsraĂ«l.
