Psaumes 24.5

Ils recevront la bénédiction du SEIGNEUR, et Dieu, leur sauveur, les reconnaîtra comme justes.
יִשָּׂ֣א בְ֭רָכָה מֵאֵ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה וּ֝צְדָקָ֗ה מֵאֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׁעֽוֹ׃
Il recevra bénédiction de l'Eternel, et justice de Dieu son Sauveur.

Il emportera la bénédiction. Son adoration ne sera pas stérile.

Et la justice. Il l'emportera d'auprès de Dieu, qui la lui donne. Celui qui a les mains nettes et le cœur pur semble devoir apporter à Dieu sa propre justice, comme le pharisien de la parabole (Luc 18.11-14). Mais non, il sent que, malgré tout son bon désir et toute sa sincérité, il manque encore beaucoup à sa justice et qu'il a besoin d'en recevoir de Dieu une plus parfaite, que Dieu lui-même puisse accepter en plein (Philippiens 3.8-10).
