La protection offerte par le Seigneur ne s'applique pas qu'à notre vie pratique, elle s'exerce également à notre vie spirituelle, le don offert à chaque croyant.

Par les afflictions nous sommes éprouvés, comme l'argent est affiné au feu. Les problèmes que peut rencontrer l'église ont tous un but bénéfique.

Au travers des différents conflits et épreuves, celui qui était auparavant sous le joug de Satan se trouve maintenant, par le simple fait de croire, dans la joie et la paix : lorsqu'il est assailli par toutes ces tribulations, le croyant se doit d'entrer dans le royaume de Dieu.
