Encore une bénédiction que l'apôtre attend comme fruit des prières de ses frères. Il espérait arriver à Rome avec joie ; il y arriva chargé de chaînes.

Dans cette dispensation, il ne reconnut pas moins la volonté de Dieu. Et son attente de se reposer dans la communion des chrétiens de Rome commença de se réaliser dès qu'il eut mis le pied sur le sol de l'Italie. (Actes 28.14,15)

- Au lieu de "la volonté de Dieu" B porte : "la volonté du Seigneur Jésus," Sin. : "de Jésus-Christ ;" D et d'autres : "de Christ-Jésus".
