World English Bible Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, "Amen. May Yahweh, the God of my lord the king, say so.

Bénaïa, chargé d'exécuter l'ordre du roi, en sa qualité de commandant, de la force armée, est ici l'interprète de tous les fidèles serviteurs de David. Il demande à Dieu de ratifier dans son ciel ce que David vient de commander.
