Au mois de Bul. Ce mois désigne le mois de la pluie, correspondant à notre mois de novembre. C'était le huitième dans l'année juive. On mit donc (voir verset 1) sept ans et demi à bâtir le temple. Cet espace est relativement court si on le compare à la durée de la construction d'autres édifices analogues, anciens et modernes.

      9 So he built the house, and finished it; and he covered the house with beams and planks of cedar.
