2 Chroniques 29.8

Alors le SEIGNEUR s’est mis en colère contre la ville de Jérusalem et tout le pays de Juda. Il a fait d’eux un exemple effrayant qui provoque la peur et le mépris. Vous pouvez le voir de vos yeux.
Aussi l’indignation de l’Éternel s’est répandue sur Juda et sur Jérusalem, et il en a fait un objet de terreur, de désolation et de moquerie, comme vous le voyez de vos yeux.
