2 Pierre 1.3

Puisque sa divine puissance nous a donné tout ce qui [appartient] à la vie et à la piété, par la connaissance de celui qui nous a appelés par sa gloire et par sa vertu.

Par sa divine puissance, le Seigneur nous a donné tout ce qui nous est nécessaire pour vivre dans l’attachement à Dieu ; il nous a fait connaître celui qui nous a appelés à participer à sa propre gloire et à son œuvre merveilleuse.
