En effet, il avait interdit à ses descendants l'usage du vin et leur avait recommandé la vie nomade à perpétuité. On voit par notre passage qu'il était un zélé adorateur de l'Eternel.Jéhu le fit monter. Par cette marque d'intimité Jéhu veut s'assurer le concours de cet homme considérable et de toute sa tribu.
