La bible annotée Commentaire de Matthew Henry Enfin, comme on ne peut servir deux maîtres, il attribue tous les honneurs à l'autel nouveau, qui reçoit le nom de grand autel, c'est-à-dire qu'il devient l'autel principal. Ainsi c'était sur un autel copié du paganisme que les sacrifices journaliers étaient offerts à Jéhova. L'holocauste du matin et l'oblation du soir. Il y avait bien aussi oblations le matin et holocaustes le soir ; la loi est claire (Exode 29.38-42 ; Nombres 28.3-8). Mais cela n'avait pas besoin d'être dit ; l'holocauste du matin n'allait pas sans oblation. Et quant à celui du soir, comme il brûlait toute la nuit (Lévitique 6.2), le peuple se bornait à assister à l'oblation.L'holocauste du roi... Il ne s'agit pas ici, comme peut-être au verset 13, d'un culte extraordinaire célébré au retour de Damas, mais d'un sacrifice régulier, quotidien, offert pour le compte du roi. Nulle part sans doute la loi ne commande au roi un sacrifice spécial pour sa personne. Mais il pouvait l'offrir, à côté de l'holocauste pour le peuple et pour le grand sacrificateur, comme sacrifice volontaire. Sur les holocaustes, voir le chapitre 1 de Lévitique ; sur les oblations, le chapitre 2 ; sur les libations, Nombres 15.5 ; et sur le sang des sacrifices, Lévitique 1.5,11,15 ; 3.2,8, etc. Des sacrifices : terme général qui renferme holocaustes, sacrifices d'actions de grâces, sacrifices pour le péché, etc.Je m'en occuperai. Evidemment le vieil autel le gêne. Il veut laisser le peuple s'habituer au nouveau, et quand celui-ci aura pris dans l'usage la place de l'ancien, il éloignera définitivement celui-là. Ainsi c'était sur un autel copié du paganisme que les sacrifices journaliers étaient offerts à Jéhova. L'holocauste du matin et l'oblation du soir. Il y avait bien aussi oblations le matin et holocaustes le soir ; la loi est claire (Exode 29.38-42 ; Nombres 28.3-8). Mais cela n'avait pas besoin d'être dit ; l'holocauste du matin n'allait pas sans oblation. Et quant à celui du soir, comme il brûlait toute la nuit (Lévitique 6.2), le peuple se bornait à assister à l'oblation.L'holocauste du roi... Il ne s'agit pas ici, comme peut-être au verset 13, d'un culte extraordinaire célébré au retour de Damas, mais d'un sacrifice régulier, quotidien, offert pour le compte du roi. Nulle part sans doute la loi ne commande au roi un sacrifice spécial pour sa personne. Mais il pouvait l'offrir, à côté de l'holocauste pour le peuple et pour le grand sacrificateur, comme sacrifice volontaire. Sur les holocaustes, voir le chapitre 1 de Lévitique ; sur les oblations, le chapitre 2 ; sur les libations, Nombres 15.5 ; et sur le sang des sacrifices, Lévitique 1.5,11,15 ; 3.2,8, etc. Des sacrifices : terme général qui renferme holocaustes, sacrifices d'actions de grâces, sacrifices pour le péché, etc.Je m'en occuperai. La bible annotée Commentaire de Matthew Henry Enfin, comme on ne peut servir deux maîtres, il attribue tous les honneurs à l'autel nouveau, qui reçoit le nom de grand autel, c'est-à-dire qu'il devient l'autel principal. Ainsi c'était sur un autel copié du paganisme que les sacrifices journaliers étaient offerts à Jéhova. L'holocauste du matin et l'oblation du soir. Il y avait bien aussi oblations le matin et holocaustes le soir ; la loi est claire (Exode 29.38-42 ; Nombres 28.3-8). Mais cela n'avait pas besoin d'être dit ; l'holocauste du matin n'allait pas sans oblation. Et quant à celui du soir, comme il brûlait toute la nuit (Lévitique 6.2), le peuple se bornait à assister à l'oblation.L'holocauste du roi... Il ne s'agit pas ici, comme peut-être au verset 13, d'un culte extraordinaire célébré au retour de Damas, mais d'un sacrifice régulier, quotidien, offert pour le compte du roi. Nulle part sans doute la loi ne commande au roi un sacrifice spécial pour sa personne. Mais il pouvait l'offrir, à côté de l'holocauste pour le peuple et pour le grand sacrificateur, comme sacrifice volontaire. La bible annotée Commentaire de Matthew Henry Enfin, comme on ne peut servir deux maîtres, il attribue tous les honneurs à l'autel nouveau, qui reçoit le nom de grand autel, c'est-à-dire qu'il devient l'autel principal. Ainsi c'était sur un autel copié du paganisme que les sacrifices journaliers étaient offerts à Jéhova. L'holocauste du matin et l'oblation du soir. Il y avait bien aussi oblations le matin et holocaustes le soir ; la loi est claire (Exode 29.38-42 ; Nombres 28.3-8). Mais cela n'avait pas besoin d'être dit ; l'holocauste du matin n'allait pas sans oblation. Et quant à celui du soir, comme il brûlait toute la nuit (Lévitique 6.2), le peuple se bornait à assister à l'oblation.L'holocauste du roi... Il ne s'agit pas ici, comme peut-être au verset 13, d'un culte extraordinaire célébré au retour de Damas, mais d'un sacrifice régulier, quotidien, offert pour le compte du roi. Nulle part sans doute la loi ne commande au roi un sacrifice spécial pour sa personne. Mais il pouvait l'offrir, à côté de l'holocauste pour le peuple et pour le grand sacrificateur, comme sacrifice volontaire. Sur les holocaustes, voir le chapitre 1 de Lévitique ; sur les oblations, le chapitre 2 ; sur les libations, Nombres 15.5 ; et sur le sang des sacrifices, Lévitique 1.5,11,15 ; 3.2,8, etc. Des sacrifices : terme général qui renferme holocaustes, sacrifices d'actions de grâces, sacrifices pour le péché, etc.Je m'en occuperai. Il y avait bien aussi oblations le matin et holocaustes le soir ; la loi est claire (Exode 29.38-42 ; Nombres 28.3-8). Mais cela n'avait pas besoin d'être dit ; l'holocauste du matin n'allait pas sans oblation. Et quant à celui du soir, comme il brûlait toute la nuit (Lévitique 6.2), le peuple se bornait à assister à l'oblation.L'holocauste du roi... Il ne s'agit pas ici, comme peut-être au verset 13, d'un culte extraordinaire célébré au retour de Damas, mais d'un sacrifice régulier, quotidien, offert pour le compte du roi. Mais il pouvait l'offrir, à côté de l'holocauste pour le peuple et pour le grand sacrificateur, comme sacrifice volontaire.
