Naaman, le général en chef de l’armée du roi de Syrie, était un homme que son maître, le roi de Syrie, tenait en haute estime et auquel il accordait toute sa faveur, car, par lui, l’Eternel avait accordé la victoire aux Syriens. Hélas, ce valeureux guerrier était lépreux.
Now Naaman, captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him Yahweh had given victory to Syria: he was also a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.
