Ils ne sont que les exécuteurs du plan de Dieu. C'est Dieu qui a créé entre ces ambitieux, naturellement rivaux, l'accord admirable grâce auquel ils ont un même dessein : donner leur royaume à la bête.

Mais le règne de celle-ci subsistera seulement jusqu'à ce que les paroles de Dieu, c'est-à-dire les prophéties relatives à la chute de Babylone, (Apocalypse 18) soient accomplies.
