Deutéronome 23.16

16 à 19 Il semble qu'il y ait entre ces deux préceptes un contraste. Tandis qu'un esclave étranger, qui se réfugie au pays d'Israël, doit être accueilli avec bienveillance, on ne doit point y tolérer des personnes d'origine israélite, vivant du salaire de l'impureté, ni accepter pour le sanctuaire un argent provenant du prix de la prostitution, fût-il même offert pour l'accomplissement d'un vœu.
