Deutéronome 24.1

Supposons qu’un homme épouse une femme, mais qu’un jour elle cesse de lui plaire, car il a quelque chose à lui reprocher. Il rédige alors une attestation de divorce, il la lui remet et la renvoie de chez lui.

      Deutéronome 24

      1 When a man takes a wife, and marries her, then it shall be, if she find no favor in his eyes, because he has found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a bill of divorce, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
      3 If the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorce, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, who took her to be his wife;

      Esaïe 50

      1 Thus says Yahweh, "Where is the bill of your mother's divorce, with which I have put her away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities were you sold, and for your transgressions was your mother put away.

      Luc 16

      18 Everyone who divorces his wife, and marries another, commits adultery. He who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery.

      1 Corinthiens 7

      11 (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife.
      12 But to the rest I--not the Lord--say, if any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is content to live with him, let him not leave her.
