Le SEIGNEUR donnera à vos ennemis la victoire sur vous. Si vous les attaquez par un seul chemin, vous fuirez devant eux par sept chemins différents. Tous les royaumes de la terre seront effrayés en voyant ce qui vous arrive.

Un objet d'étonnement. Le sens du mot est incertain. On a traduit : jouet, risée, épouvantail, etc. Nous avons nous-mêmes traduit ce mot (Jérémie 15.4 ; 24.9 ; 39.18) par outragés, par tourmentés, et par agités.
