2. (Hébr., Chélâh.) Troisième fils de Juda et d'une femme cananéenne (Ge 38:5,11,14,26 46:12 No 26:20,1Ch 2:3 4:21) ; ancêtre du clan des Sélanites (No 26:20). Il est probable qu'il faut lire Sélanites au lieu de Silonites dans 1Ch 9:5 et au lieu de fils de Siloni dans Ne 11:5.
