Esther 3.8

Haman dit alors au roi Assuérus : « Il y a dans l’ensemble des provinces de ton royaume un peuple unique, bien que dispersé, qui reste bien à part parmi les peuples. Il a des lois différentes de celles de tous les autres peuples et n'applique pas celles du roi. Le roi n’a aucun intérêt à le laisser tranquille.
Alors Haman dit au roi Assuérus : Il y a un peuple dispersé parmi les peuples, par toutes les provinces de ton royaume, et qui, toutefois, se tient à part, dont les lois sont différentes de celles de tous les peuples, et qui n'observe point les lois du roi. Il n'est pas expédient au roi de le laisser en repos.
