2 à 11 Débutant avec quelque ménagement, Eliphaz rappelle à Job sa piété et l'exhorte au courage. Job lui-même autrefois a relevé des malheureux par ses exhortations ; sa piété devrait donc le soutenir aujourd'hui. Un innocent ne périt pas ; mais ce sont les méchants qui récoltent ce qu'ils ont semé.
