Les voies de l'Eternel. Elles sont résumées au verset 6, qui est lui-même un écho de 2Samuel 7.8 : Je t'ai pris d'une cabane, d'auprès des brebis, afin que tu fusses le conducteur de mon peuple d'Israël.

L'Eternel choisit les choses qui ne sont point, pour confondre celles qui sont (1Corinthiens 1.28), et en cela il montre que seul il est grand.
