World English Bible Because they don't respect the works of Yahweh, nor the operation of his hands, he will break them down and not build them up.

Aux œuvres de l'Eternel. Il fallait être volontairement aveugle, pour ne pas reconnaître une intention et une œuvre divines dans l'élévation de David à la royauté.

Il les renversera. L'ouvrier périra sans relèvement possible, avec l'ouvrage qu'il a opposé aux œuvres de Dieu. Quant à David, il sait qu'au contraire l'Eternel lui bâtira une maison (2Samuel 7.11).
