6 à 10 Le Roi au milieu de ses sujets.

Dieu est monté... Des yeux de l'esprit, le psalmiste contemple l'Eternel prenant possession de la royauté universelle.

La trompette : hébreu schophar, le clairon retentissant de la victoire. C'est l'instrument dont on se sert dans les synagogues, pour annoncer une nouvelle année ; aussi ce psaume est-il devenu, pour les Juifs, un cantique de Nouvel-An.
