David désire aller vers Dieu. (Psaumes 63:1,2)
Sa satisfaction en Dieu. (Psaumes 63:3-6)
Sa dépendance, son assurance et sa sécurité en Lui. (Psaumes 63:7-11)

Tôt le matin, je Te cherche. Le vrai chrétien consacre à Dieu la première heure matinale. Il ouvre les yeux et ses sens corporels s'éveillent chaque matin dans des pensées de droiture.

Il éprouve une soif des choses que le monde ne peut envier et a recours immédiatement, par la prière, à la Fontaine d'eau de la vie. Le croyant véritable est convaincu que rien de ce monde perverti ne peut satisfaire les désirs de son âme immortelle. Il espère recevoir la joie de la part de Dieu. Quand la foi et l'espérance sont familières, le monde ressemble alors à un désert vide, le croyant aspire aux joies du ciel, joies dont il a déjà les prémices dans la vie spirituelle ici-bas.
