World English Bible They profess that they know God, but by their works they deny him, being abominable, disobedient, and unfit for any good work.

Grec : "Réprouvés pour toute bonne œuvre," c'est-à-dire que, dans la disposition où ils sont, les œuvres mêmes qui leur paraissent bonnes sont réprouvées de Dieu, (comparez 2Timothée 3.8) parce qu'ils le sont eux-mêmes.
