L'apôtre termine par des louanges à Dieu. Nous devons regarder à Dieu, sous toutes nos faiblesses et nos craintes, non comme un ennemi, mais comme un Père, disposé à avoir pitié de nous et à nous aider. Nous devons rendre gloire à Dieu comme un Père. La grâce de Dieu et sa faveur, qui ont réconcilié les âmes dans la joie, avec toutes les grâces en nous qui en découlent, ont toutes été rachetées pour nous par le mérite de Christ, et mises en application par son intercession pour nous; et tout cela est appelé avec justesse la grâce du Seigneur Jésus-Christ.
