Et ce sont ici les fils de David qui lui naquirent à Hébron : le premier-né, Amnon, d'Akhinoam, la Jizreélite ; le second, Daniel, d'Abigaïl, la Carmélite ;

le troisième, Absalom, fils de Maaca, fille de Talmaï, roi de Gueshur ; le quatrième, Adonija, fils de Hagguith ;

le cinquième, Shephatia, d'Abital ; le sixième, Jithream, d'Égla, sa femme :

les six lui naquirent à Hébron. Et il régna là sept ans et six mois, et il régna trente-trois ans à Jérusalem.

-Et ceux-ci lui naquirent à Jérusalem : Shimha, et Shobab, et Nathan, et Salomon, quatre de Bath-Shua, fille d'Ammiel ;

et Jibkhar, et Elishama,

et Éliphéleth, et Nogah, et Népheg,

et Japhia, et Elishama, et Éliada, et Éliphéleth, neuf :

tous étaient fils de David, outre les fils des concubines, -et Tamar, leur soeur.

Et le fils de Salomon : Roboam ; -Abija, son fils ; Asa, son fils ; Josaphat, son fils ;

Joram, son fils ; Achazia, son fils ; Joas, son fils ;
12
Amatsia, son fils ; Azaria, son fils ;
13
Jotham, son fils ; Achaz, son fils ; Ézéchias, son fils ; Manassé, son fils ;

Amon, son fils ; Josias, son fils.

Et les fils de Josias : le premier-né, Jokhanan ; le second, Jehoïakim ; le troisième, Sédécias ; le quatrième Shallum.

-Et les fils de Pedaïa : Zorobabel et Shimhi. Et les fils de Zorobabel : Meshullam et Hanania, et Shelomith, leur soeur ;

et Hashuba, et Ohel, et Bérékia, et Hasadia, et Jushab-Hésed, cinq.

-Et les fils de Hanania : Pelatia et Ésaïe ; les fils de Rephaïa, les fils d'Arnan, les fils d'Abdias, les fils de Shecania.

Et les fils de Shecania : Shemahia ; et les fils de Shemahia : Hattush, et Jighal, et Bariakh, et Nearia, et Shaphath, six.

-Et les fils de Nearia : Elioénaï, et Ézéchias, et Azrikam, trois.

-Et les fils d'Élioénaï : Hodavia, et Éliashib, et Pelaïa, et Akkub, et Jokhanan, et Delaïa, et Anani, sept.

Voici les fils de David nés à Hébron : Amnon, l’aîné, fils d’Ahinoam, de la ville d’Izréel. Daniel, le deuxième, fils d’Abigaïl, de Karmel.

Absalom, le troisième, fils de Maaka, qui était la fille de Talmaï, roi de Guéchour. Adonia, le quatrième, fils de Haguite.

Chefatia, le cinquième, fils d’Abital, Itréam, le sixième, fils d’Égla, qui était, elle aussi, femme du roi.

Ces six fils sont nés pendant les sept ans et demi où David a été roi à Hébron. Ensuite David a été roi à Jérusalem pendant 33 ans.

Là, il a eu encore des enfants. Batchéba, fille d’Ammiel, lui a donné quatre fils : Chima, Chobab, Natan et Salomon.

Il a eu neuf autres fils : Ibar, Élichoua, Elpéleth, Noga, Néfeg, Yafia, Élichama, Éliada et Éliféleth.

De plus, ses femmes de deuxième rang lui ont donné aussi des fils. Il a eu également une fille, Tamar.

Hommes de la famille de Salomon : Roboam, fils de Salomon, Abia, fils de Roboam, Asa, fils d’Abia, Josaphat, fils d’Asa,

Joram, fils de Josaphat, Akazia, fils de Joram, Joas, fils d’Akazia,

Amassia, fils de Joas, Azaria, fils d’Amassia, Yotam, fils d’Azaria,

Akaz, fils de Yotam, Ézékias, fils d’Akaz, Manassé, fils d’Ézékias,

Amon, fils de Manassé, et Josias, fils d’Amon.

Fils de Josias : Yohanan, l’aîné, Yoaquim, le deuxième, Sédécias, le troisième, et Challoum, le quatrième.

Fils de Yoaquim : Yekonia et Sédécias.

Yekonia a été emmené prisonnier à Babylone. Ses fils étaient : Chéaltiel,

Malkiram, Pedaya, Chénassar, Yecamia, Hochama et Nedabia.

Fils de Pedaya : Zorobabel et Chiméi. Zorobabel a eu deux fils, Mechoullam et Hanania, et une fille, Chelomith.

Puis il a eu encore cinq fils : Hachouba, Ohel, Bérékia, Hassadia et Youchab-Hessed.

Famille de Hanania : Pelatia et Yechaya, ainsi que les fils de Yefaya, d’Arnan, d’Obadia et de Chekania.

Chekania a eu six fils : Chemaya, Hattouch, Igal, Baria, Néaria et Chafath.

Néaria a eu trois fils : Éliohénaï, Hizquia et Azricam.

הַשְּׁלִשִׁי֙ לְאַבְשָׁל֣וֹם בֶּֽן־מַעֲכָ֔ה בַּת־תַּלְמַ֖י מֶ֣לֶךְ גְּשׁ֑וּר הָרְבִיעִ֖י אֲדֹנִיָּ֥ה בֶן־חַגִּֽית׃

הַחֲמִישִׁ֥י שְׁפַטְיָ֖ה לַאֲבִיטָ֑ל הַשִּׁשִּׁ֥י יִתְרְעָ֖ם לְעֶגְלָ֥ה אִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃

שִׁשָּׁה֙ נֽוֹלַד־ל֣וֹ בְחֶבְר֔וֹן וַיִּ֨מְלָךְ־שָׁ֔ם שֶׁ֥בַע שָׁנִ֖ים וְשִׁשָּׁ֣ה חֳדָשִׁ֑ים וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים וְשָׁלוֹשׁ֙ שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

וְאֵ֥לֶּה נוּלְּדוּ־ל֖וֹ בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑יִם שִׁ֠מְעָא וְשׁוֹבָ֞ב וְנָתָ֤ן וּשְׁלֹמֹה֙ אַרְבָּעָ֔ה לְבַת־שׁ֖וּעַ בַּת־עַמִּיאֵֽל׃

וְיִבְחָ֥ר וֶאֱלִישָׁמָ֖ע וֶאֱלִיפָֽלֶט׃
7
וְנֹ֥גַהּ וְנֶ֖פֶג וְיָפִֽיעַ׃
8
וֶאֱלִישָׁמָ֧ע וְאֶלְיָדָ֛ע וֶאֱלִיפֶ֖לֶט תִּשְׁעָֽה׃

כֹּ֖ל בְּנֵ֣י דָוִ֑יד מִלְּבַ֥ד בְּֽנֵי־פִֽילַגְשִׁ֖ים וְתָמָ֥ר אֲחוֹתָֽם׃

וּבֶן־שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה רְחַבְעָ֑ם אֲבִיָּ֥ה בְנ֛וֹ אָסָ֥א בְנ֖וֹ יְהוֹשָׁפָ֥ט בְּנֽוֹ׃

וּבְנֵ֖י יְהוֹיָקִ֑ים יְכָנְיָ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ צִדְקִיָּ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃

וּבְנֵי֙ יְכָנְיָ֣ה אַסִּ֔ר שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵ֖ל בְּנֽוֹ׃
18
וּמַלְכִּירָ֥ם וּפְדָיָ֖ה וְשֶׁנְאַצַּ֑ר יְקַמְיָ֥ה הוֹשָׁמָ֖ע וּנְדַבְיָֽה׃
19
וּבְנֵ֣י פְדָיָ֔ה זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל וְשִׁמְעִ֑י וּבֶן־זְרֻבָּבֶל֙ מְשֻׁלָּ֣ם וַחֲנַנְיָ֔ה וּשְׁלֹמִ֖ית אֲחוֹתָֽם׃

וַחֲשֻׁבָ֡ה וָ֠אֹהֶל וּבֶרֶכְיָ֧ה וַֽחֲסַדְיָ֛ה י֥וּשַׁב חֶ֖סֶד חָמֵֽשׁ׃
21
וּבֶן־חֲנַנְיָ֖ה פְּלַטְיָ֣ה וִישַֽׁעְיָ֑ה בְּנֵ֤י רְפָיָה֙ בְּנֵ֣י אַרְנָ֔ן בְּנֵ֥י עֹבַדְיָ֖ה בְּנֵ֥י שְׁכַנְיָֽה׃

וּבְנֵ֥י שְׁכַנְיָ֖ה שְׁמַעְיָ֑ה וּבְנֵ֣י שְׁמַעְיָ֗ה חַטּ֡וּשׁ וְ֠יִגְאָל וּבָרִ֧יחַ וּנְעַרְיָ֛ה וְשָׁפָ֖ט שִׁשָּֽׁה׃

וּבֶן־נְעַרְיָ֗ה אֶלְיוֹעֵינַ֧י וְחִזְקִיָּ֛ה וְעַזְרִיקָ֖ם שְׁלֹשָֽׁה׃

וּבְנֵ֣י אֶלְיוֹעֵינַ֗י *הדיוהו **הוֹדַוְיָ֡הוּ וְאֶלְיָשִׁ֡יב וּפְלָיָ֡ה וְ֠עַקּוּב וְיוֹחָנָ֧ן וּדְלָיָ֛ה וַעֲנָ֖נִי שִׁבְעָֽה׃

the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith;

the fifth, Shephatiah of Abital; the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife:

six were born to him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months. In Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years;
5
and these were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bathshua the daughter of Ammiel;

and Ibhar, and Elishama, and Eliphelet,
7
and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
8
and Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.
9
All these were the sons of David, besides the sons of the concubines; and Tamar was their sister.
10
Solomon's son was Rehoboam, Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
12
Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,
13
Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
14
Amon his son, Josiah his son.

The sons of Josiah: the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.
16
The sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.
17
The sons of Jeconiah, the captive: Shealtiel his son,
18
and Malchiram, and Pedaiah, and Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
19
The sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel, and Shimei. The sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam, and Hananiah; and Shelomith was their sister;
20
and Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab Hesed, five.
21
The sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah, and Jeshaiah; the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shecaniah.
22
The sons of Shecaniah: Shemaiah. The sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, and Igal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.
23
The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, and Hizkiah, and Azrikam, three.
24
The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.
