Jéroboam ordonna à sa femme : —Viens, déguise-toi pour qu’on ne reconnaisse pas que tu es la reine, puis va à Silo. C’est là qu’habite le prophète Ahiya, celui qui a prédit que je deviendrais roi de ce peuple.
Jeroboam said to his wife, "Please get up and disguise yourself, that you won't be recognized as the wife of Jeroboam. Go to Shiloh. Behold, there is Ahijah the prophet, who spoke concerning me that I should be king over this people.

Déguise-toi. Il redoute avec raison une réponse défavorable d'Ahija, dont il n'avait pas respecté les recommandations (11.38), et veut essayer de tromper sur son identité le vieux prophète aveugle.
