World English Bible But there was none like Ahab, who sold himself to do that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.

C'est que... Le narrateur interrompt son récit par les réflexions contenues versets 25 et 26. Le sens est : cette punition extraordinaire n'était pas trop rigoureuse, car aussi les crimes de celte famille avaient passé toute mesure.
