World English Bible Hiram made the basins, and the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he worked for king Solomon in the house of Yahweh:

Les cuves : d'autres cuves, plus petites encore que les dix cuves à socles. La plupart des interprètes traduisent les chaudrons, d'après verset 44 et 2Chroniques 4.11 (lisant sirôth au lieu de kirôth.

Pelles : servant à enlever les cendres de l'autel des holocaustes.

Bassins : pour divers usages, mais non pas pour recueillir le sang des victimes ; pour cela il fallait des vases d'or.

40 à 47 Récapitulation des ustensiles plus considérables déjà mentionnés ; leur aspect (verset 45) ; le lieu où ils furent confectionnés (verset 46).
