Vers le lieu de ta demeure : le lieu de ta véritable demeure. Le ciel est le symbole visible de la demeure inaccessible où Dieu habite ; comparez 1Timothée 6.16 ; Jean 17.4.

Tu entendras et tu pardonneras. A la demande d'exaucement est jointe celle du pardon, qui est la condition préalable de l'exaucement. Ce besoin de pardon respire dans cette prière du commencement à la fin.
