2 Corinthiens 6.16

Qu’est-ce qu’il y a de commun entre la maison de Dieu et les faux dieux ? Nous, nous sommes la maison du Dieu vivant. Dieu l’a dit : « Je vais habiter et vivre au milieu d’eux. Je serai leur Dieu, et ils seront mon peuple. »

Le temple de Dieu peut-il contracter alliance avec les idoles ? Or, nous sommes le temple du Dieu vivant. Dieu lui-même l’a dit : J’habiterai et je vivrai au milieu d’eux. Je serai leur Dieu, et ils seront mon peuple.

    • Genèse 17

      7 I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you.

      1 Samuel 7

      3 Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, "If you do return to Yahweh with all your heart, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you, and direct your hearts to Yahweh, and serve him only; and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines."
