Les mots toute la nuit ne prouvent point qu'ils arrivèrent à Hébron le lendemain matin, ce qui serait impossible, du moins si Isboseth demeurait encore à Mahanaïm ; car il y a une distance de 80 km entre cette ville et Hébron. Ces mots signifient qu'ils s'enfuirent le plus rapidement possible du lieu de leur crime.
