- Par ces mots : Mais les hommes méchants et imposteurs, l'apôtre revient à ceux dont il a parlé (2Timothée 3.6,9) et qu'il met en opposition avec "ceux qui vivent selon la piété." (2Timothée 3.12)

Cela est d'autant plus clair que le mot ici traduit par imposteurs signifie des magiciens, tels que ceux qu'il a rappelés

à 2Timothée 3.8.

- Séduire et être séduit sont deux choses inséparables : tout séducteur est lui-même l'esclave du mensonge, et tout homme qui se laisse séduire ne tarde pas à exercer sur d'autres l'influence de son erreur. Effrayante et fatale puissance du mal !
