Vous sortirez... Il n'y aura pas besoin de chercher les portes pour sortir de la ville, car partout les murailles seront abattues.

Vous fuirez ; littéralement : Vous avez jeté loin de vous.

Vos palais : le sens du mot hébreu (harmôn) ne saurait être fixé sûrement. On a traduit : le Hermon, la plus belle montagne de Palestine, qui représenterait le pays tout entier ; ou bien l'Arménie (vous serez emmenés en Arménie), ou d'autres explications encore moins vraisemblables. Le mot hébreu a quelque analogie avec celui de harem. Le sens serait-il : Vous abandonnerez brusquement vos appartements magnifiques, dont vous étiez fières, pour aller en captivité ?
