Ce qu'ils ont est indiqué à verset 19.

Le retenir jusqu'à la fin, telle est la fidélité des serviteurs de Dieu. (Apocalypse 2.26 ; 3.11 ; 2.10, comparez Matthieu 10.22) Ceux qui voient dans le verset précédent la promesse de ne pas imposer de nouvelles prescriptions, trouvent dans ces paroles la recommandation d'observer les règles établies.
