הֱבִיאַ֙נִי֙ אֶל־בֵּ֣ית הַיָּ֔יִן וְדִגְל֥וֹ עָלַ֖י אַהֲבָֽה׃

Il m'a fait entrer dans la maison du vin : un lieu de récréation où se réunissent les jeunes gens des deux sexes. Sulammith s'imagine jouir en ce moment même d'une réunion de ce genre avec son ami.

Sa bannière : image de la protection. Elle a beau être captive, elle sent que l'amour de son bien-aimé la protège contre les séductions dont elle est l'objet.
