Allusion aux promesses Genèse 15.18 ; Exode 23.30-31. Quelle que soit la distance du sanctuaire à laquelle les membres du peuple puissent habiter, il leur est interdit d'offrir des sacrifices privés. Il vaut mieux ne pas offrir de sacrifices que de les offrir dans un autre lieu que le sanctuaire.
