Menu et gros bétail. Le terme de Pâque désigne proprement l'agneau sacrifié en souvenir de celui qui avait été immolé en Egypte (Exode 12.3 et suivants) et qu'on mangeait le premier du mois, au soir. C'est dans ce sens restreint que le mot Pâque est employé versets 5 et 6. Mais la fête durant sept jours, on offrait d'autres sacrifices de gros et de menu bétail dans les jours suivants, et ces victimes sont comprises, versets 2 et 3, dans le terme de Pâque. Les rabbins leur donnent le nom particulier de chaguiga.
