Car l'homme ne se préoccupe pas trop... Quand on a appris à travailler avec Dieu, et non pas seul, on a là une riche compensation à toutes les peines de la vie.

Dieu lui répond en réjouissant son cœur. Cette joie est une réponse à son besoin de bonheur. D'autres traduisent : Dieu donne un témoignage d'approbation à la joie de son cœur. On la sait ainsi de bon aloi, et l'on peut s'y livrer sans arrière-pensée.
