Ma colère est passée, et s’il se trouve des ronces, des épines, je marcherai contre elles pour leur faire la guerre et j’y mettrai le feu.

Le temps de la colère est passé. Israël purifié n'a plus rien à redouter du jugement divin.

Des ronces et des épines : symbole des ennemis du peuple de Dieu (2Samuel 23.6-7). Dieu lui-même leur avait autrefois livré sa vigne (5.6) ; maintenant c'est lui qui la délivre de celles qu'on y voudrait mettre.
