Esaïe 35.9

No lion will be there, nor will any ravenous animal go up on it. They will not be found there; but the redeemed will walk there.
On n’y rencontrera pas de lion, pas de bête sauvage, aucune ne viendra là. Seuls ceux que le SEIGNEUR aura libérés prendront cette route.

Comparez 11.6-9. Nul ennemi ne pourra ravir les élus à la conduite du Seigneur qui les ramène en Sion pour les y faire jouir d'un salut inépuisable ; les moins intelligents mêmes ne pourront s'égarer : comparez les paroles de Jésus sur la sécurité de ses brebis, Jean 10.28-29.

Rachetés. Car Israël a été vendu aux païens (11.1, note ; comparez 50.1-52.3). Le mot que nous traduisons par racheter exprime à la fois les diverses notions que nous rendons en français par venger, délivrer.
