Et nul ne peut s'attribuer cette dignité, que celui qui est appelé de Dieu, comme Aaron.
Nul ne s’attribue cet honneur ; mais on y est appelé par Dieu, comme le fut Aaron lui-même.

World English Bible Nobody takes this honor on himself, but he is called by God, just like Aaron was.

Si Dieu n'avait pas lui-même établi la souveraine sacrificature et donné cette dignité à la famille d'Aaron qui l'exerçait par son autorité, nul parmi le peuple n'aurait pu savoir si Dieu acceptait les sacrifices qui étaient offerts pour les péchés.

      1 "Bring Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.
