World English Bible Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the watch at the storehouses of the gates.

Dans 1Chroniques 9.17,24,26, ne sont mentionnés que quatre portiers, et quatre familles lévitiques (Sallum, Akkub, Talmon et Ahiman) sont seules chargées de la garde des portes du temple. Matthania, Bakbukia et Obadia (ou Abdias) sont, 11.17, comptés parmi les chantres. Peut-être ces trois noms ont-ils été mis quelque autre part en marge et introduits plus tard dans le texte à une mauvaise place.
