La purification une fois terminée, les Lévites sont présentés à Dieu ; ils doivent offrir un taureau, avec l'oblation ordinaire pour l'holocauste, et un taureau pour le sacrifice pour le péché. Plus d'une fois (Nombres 6.14 ; Lévitique 12.6) nous avons trouvé, comme ici, l'holocauste mentionné avant le sacrifice pour le péché ; c'est que le premier était le but et le second le moyen. Mais quand l'exécution est racontée (comparez Nombres 6.16 et ici verset 12), le second est mentionné le premier, selon l'ordre des faits.
