L'huile est indiquée, à côté des trésors, comme une substance précieuse (verset 17) entre beaucoup d'autres que peut contenir une maison bien montée. Voir Esaïe 39.2.

Un homme insensé les dévorera. Cela n'a pas lieu toujours, mais souvent (Luc 12.20).
